Hey ! My friend (Canadian) applied to MSUCOM and got an interview today, scheduled for Aug 19. She said she read that MSUCOM doesn't interview and accepts based on secondary and then also read somewhere that they interview those they aren't sure about. Does this mean the majority that are accepted do so without an interview and that they were iffy about her so they're interviewing her? What's her chance of getting in (i.e. average 50% of interviewees accepted?)?
Is there a PDF or video or anything with sample questions? I know there are general sample interview questions, but she can't find any specific for MSUCOM. In Canada, for example, McGill and McMaster have PDF packages full of interview questions, station set up, tips, etc.
Lastly, please provide her any tips or info for before and during the interview that you think would help. She doesn't know what to expect for American med school interviews, she's only experienced Canadian med school interviews and hears they are very different.
P.s. She says please don't make this MD vs. DO thread or talk about MSUCOM tuition, she's already crying about the tuition...
Thanks!
