Can someone pls help me with this question? I think it has something to do with Leeway space but wasn't sure! Thx in advance

A 7 year old patient is missing tooth 5.5 and tooth 7.5. Space maintainers were not placed. A current mixed dentition analysis yields the following data:
R L
-5mm -3mm (maxilla)
-3mm -4.5mm (mandible)

The actual space loss assuming there was no asymmetry in tooth sizes is:

A. 8mm in the maxilla.
B. 2mm in the maxilla.
C 7.5mm in the mandible.
D. 4.5mm in the mandible.

Despite having tooth 65, total space loss was 3mm in upper left quadrant. So on the upper left quadrant that had a total space loss of 5mm, we can get that the actual space loss because of missing 55 was 2mm (5-3=2).
