Canadian Universities: Program best suited for G.P.? Life Sci. or Health sci.?

For Canadian Universities which program is needed for people wanting to become general practioners? Life sciences or Health sciences?

Both will do fine as both will allow you to fulfill prereqs for med school.
Having said that, Health Sci is more about science in the health care field while life sci is just more science in general.

Do whatever degree will allow you to get the earn the highest GPA. Without that, getting into a Canadian med school is next to impossible. Once you're in medical school, then you can spend all the time you want thinking about what specialty you want to enter. Looking back, I probably would have studied psychology or sociology and knocked out the science pre-requisites where ever they fit in my schedule.
