I remember being a first year med student and watching one of these videos - confused the **** out of me when I was already super stressed out and had no idea what was going on. What the **** is this ****? was all that was going through my mind along with "will I also turn into this big of a nerd by 4th year?"

I wish orientations were actually that -- orientating you to med school and giving you an idea of what to expect and how to prepare. Instead of just throwing you into a bunch of alcohol fueled parties for 2 weeks and showing you videos like this that leave you no more prepared for the first day of class than day 1 of orientation. For a professional field that takes itself so seriously, the introductory days to med school seem terribly out of place.

On SDN? Never going to happen. The government could pay medical students 50k a year to go to school, have a personal assistant hired for each one, and there would still be complaints, "Omg my personal assistant totally got the wrong flavor of coffee for me, plus doesn't he know that I like it one cream 2 sugar NOT 2 cream 1 sugar OMG!"

Just bask in it.

I am a big fan of the Undercova Gunnas videos as well (mainly 3rd and 4th year) from UMD. And I think there was one from JHU (maybe?) that had a kid actually rapping to "Look at me now". That one was pretty legit. But yes, Drexel's videos are definitely the best.

Again, didn't watch the video, but having the option between Mr. Neckbeard and Grandpa "Rollin' by the CBC's".... leaves a lot to be desired as a person who really liked Thrift Shop.
