Question Can't search

I was trying to search, and all that is being searched is one thread in the Sociopolitical Forum. I logged out and signed in again. However, it is still searching only that forum. I tried just searching my posts, with no other entries, and all I get is that one thread in SPF. Also, I was searching from the main page, and from a specialty page. I also selected that specially page, and it still only searched SPF

Now, it's the same thread, and this post above. That's it. I am searching by date, as the "relevance" is not useful. There is nothing for me to de-select, to clear anything. I see when I search that my query is "*". That is when I search by my username only, which, as you know, should get me everything I've posted.

Yes, we are troubleshooting the search issue.

We are rebuilding the search cache, which seems like it is helping. It will take at least an hour, but more likely a few.

Please let me know if rebuilding the cache did not solve the problem.

It looks like that worked! However, I notice how precise it is: if someone posted "dogs", and they search for "dog", they won't find it. It's only if they search for "dogs".

But, yes, it appears repaired and functional!
