There was a one chem problem dealing with the stability of carbocation.

And I supposed to put them in the decreasing order.

So there were 4 types of carbocation which were, primary, secodary,

tertiary, and allylic.

I put the tertiary carbocation as the most stable carbocation, but,

the answer was allylic carbocation. Is allylic carbocation more stable than

tertiary? or is it just error?

Thanks

Oh. allylic is more stable than secondary right?

that is correct bc allylic has resonance stabilization.
Benzylic>Allylic>Tertiary

As I know,
secondary allylic > tertiary > primary allylic > secondary > primary carbocation.
