I recently took over recruiting for our growing group at Englewood Hospital. One of our 5 cardiac anesthesiologists has taken another position to shorten his commute so we are looking for a fellowship trained cardiac anesthesiologist (new grads welcome!).
Our anesthesiology group is a wonderful place to establish a career. Many of our anesthesiologists started with our group after completing training and have chosen to stay for decades. We pride ourselves on self governance and new graduates are given opportunities early on to expand their roles in leadership, business development, hospital administration committees, research, and quality improvement. Our group works well together; lending each other additional help as needed to accomplish the daily tasks.
We have one of the safest cardiac surgery programs that is nationally known. Cardiac call is divided amongst the five cardiac call attendings. General call is not required for the cardiac candidate but can be easily accommodated if desired. When not in the cardiac room, we provide anesthesia for almost all types of anesthesia throughout the hospital and at ambulatory sites. We have a very active orthopedic program
and regional experience is required.
