How long, including all the steps, for non-invasive, invasive and interventional? Or, how long before one can earn a meaningful salary? (above 50k)

Internal Medicine residency of 3 years...cardiology fellowship of 3 years (interventional or EP is an additional 1 year of fellowship)

Attendings will make much more than $50k/yr. I don't think there's a difference between "invasive" vs. "interventional" - correct me if I'm wrong. Thought there was only diagnostic cards, interventional and EPS.

Well, someone mentioned that "interventional" is used to treat rather than diagnose.
Can you explain what Attending is? When and how does one become an attending? Sorry about the naivete of my questions, but I am trying to get an idea how long these things take. Also, isn't that true that after internal med residency is over, one can moonlight for extra income?
