Looking for advice opinions where to take my RX career.

4 years retail across 2 companies staff/mgr/overnight
Currently enjoying overnights--do not think can do this forever though.
Which is the best option...

Break into walmart/kroger/publix (most fair work condition/best corporate outlook)
Residency to lead to hospital/professor/managed care sit-down job ( 100k lost wages-residency, starting prof/hospital pay lower than retail in my area, but can grind out more years doing this)
Open/buy independent (have funds for down payment or start from scratch.)

Would like to retire with passive income ~70k/yr in 15 or so years!!

I wouldn't count on being able to retire in 15 years as a reasonable goal. But if that is your, independent pharmacy might be your best bet--high risk, but high rewards.

agree - very high risk, probably better bet is to bank as much money as possible and buy rental properties - put 20% down, buy them in the poor part of town were purchase prices are low, and you get a higher rent to debt ratio. If you are a handy with doing work around the house, you can make a small fortune, then have lots of passive income.
