Hi all! I was very lucky to get off the waitlist for Carle Illinois, but now that means I must choose between the University of Arizona Phoenix and Carle Illinois. Any info or help is appreciated!

In terms of prestige, I honestly have no idea but I'm assuming they're similar since they're both unranked. Cost is about the same, but Carle is slightly more expensive (not enough to be a huge factor). Thank you for your input!

- Closer to home (I'm from Washington state)
- Big city, more to do, more Asian food
- Better connected hospital system with more patient variety
Cons
- Gets extremely hot in the summer
- Fewer research opportunities than Carle
Carle Illinois
Pros
- Engineering focus (I was a computer science major)
- Better research opportunities for competitive specialties
- Very unique curriculum, "technological invention" component is something I want to pursue
Cons
- Very new school, less match data
- Fewer clinical opportunities than Arizona
- I heard that the program was underfunded but I could be wrong
