I am looking to buy a plug in hybrid SUV car, but the option isn't much out there. What's going on with these auto makers. Why don't they make a plug in Honda CRV or a Rav 4 plug in....arggg...so frustrated. Any car you guys recommending? I want good mpg....but want a tall car, not a sedan.

Can’t recommend plug ins...but the Honda CR-V is pretty amazing (2018). Competitors like the Subaru crosstrek are also awesome, and would be my second choice.

Volvo is going that direction but youll have to wait. Plug in is hard to accomplish. You may be better off with the proven hybrid platform from Toyota. Plus you can buy used. Love my 2013 Prius.

If you're still in AZ, you should know that electric cars have shorter lifespans due to the heat (as well as most of the documented battery induced fires like the Leaf). Be environmentally friendly and buy an unleaded gas or natural gas small car in AZ.
