CARS Score Differences

I took the AAMC Practice Exam I and got 71% correct but on the Kaplan and Altius ones I got way lower. I'm confused as to why this is and if I need to study more for CARS or rather the companies are just inaccurate?

The AAMC one will be closer to accurate. The test companies make their questions harder so you will panic about your score and buy more of their material, lol 😉 Keep practicing with AAMC materials including question packs and practice exams.

@FionaDoctortoHopefullyBe don't let non-AAMC practice exams deter you. Those have no basis or validity when it comes to determining where you stand. Use AAMC Sample Test, Exam 1, and Exam 2 and average those scores. The average of those scores will give a better indication of what you may score on test day. If you are happy with that score, take the exam. If not, keep studying!

Kaplan and Atlius aren't AAMC so why would you expect the same exact score?
