Looking for advice regarding CARS.

I took the MCAT earlier this morning, absolutely aced the chemistry/physics section (no more than 5-6 wrong). I started the CARS section, made it through 5 passages and struggled mightily. I have never seen any passages like I saw today - so convoluted, and the questions did not even match the passages. I ended up voiding the test... without finishing.

Does anyone have experience with a tutor that might help me? I have already worked with Jack Westin, I just don't think that he can help me.

Have you taken an English literature course, or a course in the humanities (philosophy etc.)?

Yes. I've taken my fair share of English, history, and philosophy courses and performed pretty well in all of them (A's, B's). Pretty discouraged after today.

Sounds to me like you freaked out because you encountered dense passages. I feel the same way as you because I've done so many passages and feel like I have had barely any improvement. I scored a 122 in CaRS on the practice exam scored one. So, with that being said I can't get actual CARS advice. But I can tell you that it's going to be okay and don't worry, CARS can burn people out sometimes.

Have you tried active highlighting? I switched to this method and my CARS jumped from 124 to 128 in aamc FL 1 to 2.

Thanks for the response.

I have not tried this. I definitely need to rethink my strategy though.

Look up Rowlet on Reddit. Her method helped me immensely. I think I have a screenshot of it somewhere too. She has a YouTube video with her just highlighting too. I used the video to get acclimated to the technique.
