Posted in WAMC thread but figured I would post here as well. I just got my MCAT score back and got a 504 (meh, could be worse). That being said it is already a little low for MD. Even worse I got a 122 on CARS. Does this kill my MD chance?

Yes; retake is advised if you can score significantly higher overall and in CARS. That score is low even for DO programs.

That CARS score will probably be a significant issue. That's between a 5 and a 6 on the old scale. That CARS score would be low enough to get you screened out at pretty much any school that screens with regard to individual section scores, not just composite.

You should be on par with quite a few DO schools as far as that score goes i think. Thats about a 27. Hopefully your GPA is decent to boot. Chart is 2 years old so the averages may have gone up a bit.
