Hi All,

So I bought the NS cars practice book and really struggled. I’m not sure if it’s me but the passages seemed super hard to read and the questions and answers logic made no sense to me. I switched and I am doing way better with TPR and testing solutions. I guess I’m asking is NS notoriously difficult and not close to AAMC? Is TPR and TS similar to AAMC?

I was never a fan of NS CARS, but the NS FLs were the best 3rd party predictor of my real score. Second only to AAMC.

Personally I would redo the Qpacks twice. My scores shot up. Starting with a 123, and receiving a 127 on the real thing

Awesome score! Any advice you can share. Cars is killing me slowly lol. What third party was most representative would you say?

I was terrible at CARS initially. FL1 and FL2 I scored a 123 and 124. I decided to take a step back and do qpacks untimed and really dig into it and read more carefully and asking myself "If i were an aamc examiner, what question would I ask?" or "Whats the author really trying to get at?". I think talking to yourself helps. Well for me at least. I did the Qpacks twice! Then did FL3 scored a 126. And then a 127 on the real deal.
I would say Uworld is easily the best third part company for EVERYTHING. Went from a 505 on FL2 to 517 on FL3 after Uworld. Thats just me though
