hey guys I'm an OMS I and i find lecture and textbook material inadequate sometimes for exam prep.. another OMS1 at my school had Case Files: Physiology and he highly recommended it. I just wanted some more input for other people who have utilized these series before i decide to purchase it.

I haven't actually used them but I've read through them and it seems decent. Test prepwise, @SynapticDoctah and both utilize BRS and Guyton and Hall Review Questions (FREE online, just google search that title) for physiology. I think it's def important to time when you do questions in relation to the exam. I.e. making sure you have a grip of the material as well as possible before hitting them and making sure to leave a day open between doing questions and the exam to review and material you got wrong. Hope that helps!

I've leafed through several of them. They're interesting if you have time, but you don't really need them. Focus on your class materials and either version of Costanzo.

Sometimes I see your username and mistake it for being Costanzo.

No way. I'm not that gifted. But I know an attending who had her as a teacher in med school.

Decent for 3rd year, but in my opinion there are better materials for 1st and 2nd, a few of which have already been mentioned.

I've never looked at the pre-clinical Case Files books. The 3rd year clinical ones are pretty good. I found the FM and OB/Gyn ones very helpful. Others not so much.
