I just got back from my interview at Case Western, and i was really impressed with their facilities. I know that the other 3 interviewees are out there somewhere floating around the forums.. Anyway i hope this helps someone out there
Pros (I was taking notes):
-Their Dentsim looked outstanding (from the first interview point-of-view)
-Large Patient Pool
-You get to work your own operatory
-Nearly 100% graduate in 4 years on time
-No lab work - which means you don't have to spend tons of time making your own crowns when you don't do it in the real world anyway
-Tons of research opportunities = easy to specialize
-They give you your own secretary (how sweet is that!)
-The part of Cleveland that Case was in seem actually pretty nice (Unlike most dental schools, which seem to be in reputably bad locations)
-Students seemed happy to be there
Cons:
-Really expensive..
I came in really skeptical of Case Western (I'm not too big on Ohio) and i left totally impressed with their program. Everyone seemed really laid back, and they're implementing this new program starting this year that involves a loooot more free time (could be a bad thing actually).
