is it worth it to go for a case interview for the alternate list? i live in CA, and I don't want to waste $$$, if chances of admittance are close to none

Well, that varies and the admissions guy said anywhere from 5-25, but they won't know until at least May and then all the way up to day 1 of classes, this is what past years have been like. (excluding last year when they accepted 5 too many). As for your chances...it depends on your GPA and DAT score. If they are really good then you will be in the top of the alternate list.

utahdent123 said:Right, that's what I meant when I said, they accepted 5 too many applicants. They ended up having to set-up 5 new stations for the class of 2009. Actually they set-up 3 I think because they already had 2 extra units.
