Hi, I know the CASPer trick is to weight everything, consider all possible options, etc etc like you would do on an MMI. However I was wondering for questions like: "What do you advise?" are they expecting to hear a yes/no answer. This is the scenario: https://takecasper.com/test-prep/
So in this case, question 1 which states: Would you recommend he take paternity leave? Why or why not?
I was hoping to say (just summarizing here): urge him to identify what are the ways his wife would like him to be there for her, and see if he can do that w/o taking leave. if possible, then no. however, i would also urge him to consider if any changes have happened in the climate of the office since the john inside and if a trusted mentor/hr/overall consensus is paternity leave is no biggie currently then i would say go for it son!
But then there is the problem that Q 2 asks: What strategies could you offer to help him make a decision that he feels comfortable with?
Really confused. Sounds like they want you to say something y/n for 1 and back it with a reason,a t the expense of weighing other options?
