If you're looking for a CASPer practice test, a lot of what comes up is based on older versions of the test. The number of scenarios, timing, and question types have been updated recently. So it's important to ensure you're practicing with the latest version.
There tend to be three distinct question types on the current test, and each one needs a different approach:
Situational questions ask what you would do and why.
Reflective questions ask what you felt (or would feel) and what your insights are.
Judgment questions ask what the fairest approach is and require analysis.
A response structure that works for one doesn't necessarily work for the others. Older practice material often doesn't make this distinction at all or cover the depth of newer question formats.
If you want to take a full test, start with the official free practice test at Acuity Insights. It replicates the real format and timing, and it's the closest thing to the actual test you'll find.
Once you've done that, a second full-length run is worth it to see how your responses hold up. I put one together at Response Method with the latest format, which is free to take. It covers both video and typed sections and includes one scored response with evaluator feedback.
