I'm taking the May 30th MCAT and I am not as far as I would like to be for content review/test prep. I am about 1/3 of the way through. I have a lull period right now with coursework. Would you recommend the following schedule tomorrow?

Ch. 4 Physics + 1/3 Passages ( approximately 4 hours)

take a break

Ch. 4 Biology + 1/3 ( approximately 4.5 hours)

take a break

4 VR Passages (approximately 30 min)

Are 9-10 hour days productive if you have nothing else to do or is it too much for one day?

My concern would be tiring out and risking your comprehension. I could probably only name 1 person I know of who could meaningfully study for 9-10 hours and still keep up his comprehension.

If you can do it--it looks fine. Just take notice on how you're working near the end of the day.

Chapter four of TBR physics is very short. I read the chapter, watched Chad's video on the section, and did the first 2/3's in about 3.5 hours while breastfeeding my daughter and having my older kids run around the living room. :scared:

TBR chapter four is LONG (40 pages) although maybe it wouln't be so bad if you have had genetics before. I haven't so it's kind of 😱 to me. I'm working on it right now (on chapter fours for the June 20th test).

Maybe do one chapter and do the reading of another but not the passages yet of the second. :luck:

Oh, and you can always join our test date....that will give you more time to finish your content review. 😉

How much time before your date are you reserving for FLs? My objective is to be done with content review in 5 weeks and take my first AAMC around April 27th/28th. I will then proceed to do a FL every 4-5 days until my May 30th test day.

My schedule has me done with content review May 3rd and doing FL's and any left over BR passages from there on out, so about 6 weeks before the test on June 20th.

I think that you'll be fine. That is just 2 weeks less than the schedule that I am on. 🙂

You're pretty convincing. I wish I could join the dark side. It is a lot more fun. I need to take it May 30th though because I want to apply early decision.
