Hey everyone - after much consultation I am going to start CBSE prep. I am currently working 6 days a week as a gp but going to cut it down to 4 days a week so maximize studying. I want to take the July exam. With that being said, is there a specific study schedule or comprehensive guide in terms of studying?

I am a big Anki user and was also wondering what deck is recommended to start the prep?

thank you docs

Take the number of days you have until your exam and divide the total number of uworld questions by that. That should be used as your guide. You can unsuspend anki cards as you go through questions in Uworld. Uworld is the most important learning tool so make sure you get through it.

I would do anki for sketchy micro, pharm, and pathoma if you can squeeze it. i recommend doing both uworld and amboss if u wanna get 70+

Don't do both UW and amboss. If you have time to go through both, you went too fast. Don't resource overload. Quality of studying questions over quantity

my current plan is doing bootcamp videos for about 2 months and the Anki with it. Then after 2 months to starts UWORLD. I have around until next February til exam date. What do you think Doc?

Next February as in 3 months from now or 15 months

Next February in 15 months 🙂! I will also do it this coming July just to get a taste.

Sounds like a good plan to me then. Plan to start taking NBME CBSSAs 2-3 months out from next February then honing in on your weak areas. Also anki is great, but don't let it consume your studying TOO much. I've heard those reviews pile up quick. Knowing facts is only good if you've learned how to apply them from UW. But good plan, keep it up. Good luck
