As I understand the process, you register and pay with AAOMS, they then send your info to NBME who will send you a confirmation number so you can register with Prometric.

Tomorrow is the deadline for registration for the February 2019 exam. I registered and paid yesterday on the AAOMS site, but I haven't received a confirmation code to register with Prometric yet. I assume I just have to register with AAOMS before the deadline, not Prometric, correct? Could anyone elaborate from experience?

Yes, you will receive the scheduling permit for Prometric later.

Yup and then you just enter it when you schedule your exam on prometric. Very similar to taking the DAT. Good luck on Feb!
