  1. Dental Student
Hey guys if anyone took the CBSE or planning on taking it can tell me what are the study materials you used/ planning to use to get it done? How much is something to almost guarantee me a placement in OMFS and in Endo (I like blood if you didn't notice [emoji849][emoji847] ).
Thanks in advance.

Are you in a British dental school? If so it's gonna be extremely hard for you to match into an OMS program. That sing said, I think most people use uWorld and step 1 first aid.

Oh okay I see. I will do research in Canada and the states, shadowing, letters of recommendation, plus a good CBSE score and good ranking. I know it's tough but is it that big of a deal studying outside of the states?

Just browse md and see how they study for step 1. Isn't the cbse just a shorter version of that exam?

Totally makes sense. Thank you. Yes, it is a very much the same as the USMLE Step 1 exam.

Those kids are someone for insane scores too. However a dental student can maybe give better advice on how to study for it with less or no dedicated time

I mean don't get me wrong I love dental school that's why I got in but I also love medicine I am willing to put the time and effort and sacrifice anything for OMFS. I think if I study I can get a good score like 85 + but the issue as some people mentioned in the states and Canada I am at a disadvantage for studying abroad. I will do my best to get research done and all the shadowing and volunteering which I can get still in 2nd year and my program is 5 years so that's something to think about still can make my resume good. Thanks for the info i went to check in the med section and there are some resources they use as shown in the pic for anyone who is interested like I am and reading this.
