For those of you who have taken the 2 CD-ROM practice tests from the KAPLAN purple book (MCAT Premier Program), are the two CBTs good practice tests?

They are not terrible for practice, but they are not full-length CBTs. I would use them toward the beginning of your study to guage where you might stand. As I remember, one of those exams has a verbal section that is way too easy. I would do them for practice, but I wouldn't include them in my full-length practice test lineup. GL.
