Does it look bad if I take electives (business or communication) at a CC? I am not trying for a GPA boost but rather just to save money.

Can't answer you for sure because I'm not an adcom. But from my experience take prerequisites at cc didn't hurt my app- just make sure to apply to schools that accept them

I took a few credits for public speaking, music, philosophy, econ, and lit. Most of these are required at my liberal arts college and being a double major (non-overlapping at all) I was forced to take some CC credits. All my reqs (besides) literature were taken at my 4-year institution so I don't think it will hurt me that my transcript has a few credit at CC. I think I have 124 credits at my school and only like 15 at CC

Okay! Thank you guys! All my reqs are from my university but english. I just need to take some open electives to finish my 120 credits, which I am planning to take at CC. Also, do you guys think it hurts to only be taking 14 credits my last semester? I don't want to take more credits than I need.

i don't think so...i've had 14-16 credits every semester...some just happen to be heavier others are easier. i've never taken 17 creditsand don't plan on in undergrad
