I transferred from a CC to a UC in Fall 2019 w/ a 3.85 GPA, and I am graduating from my 4-year with a 4.0. My cGPA will be a 3.87 and sGPA a 3.95.
In my first semester at the UC I only took 13 units (2 science classes + lab and one humanities) in order to get adjusted to the rigor, with the intent of ramping it up over my final 3 semesters. However, COVID struck in Spring, and my school shifted completely online, so I have taken all of my upper-div science courses (Biochem, Molecular Bio, Physics, Immuno, Genetics etc.) online. I've managed to maintain a 4.0, and I can get great LORs from all of the professors that I took the courses with (I set the curve in almost every science class I've taken), but I'm still worried that med schools will be suspicious of my actual academic capabilities.
Am I overthinking this, or should I be prepared to do a post-bacc of some kind to prove myself? I'm aiming for T20s (provided my MCAT is great).
