I'm about to start with prereqs (Gen chem , and gen bio), currently going to CC(almost done with GEs). I also work part time to pay my tuitions. The problem is, thanks to budget cut in cali, seems like I won't be able to get the classes I needed. I plan to transfer to UC later but for now I'm not sure whether I should try to take prereqs at CC or at UCLA extension. I know taking at a 4 year institution is better, but I can't ignore the fact that if I take my prereqs at CC, it would save me thousands of dollars.
