I saw on the AMEDD website that there is a shorter Captain's Career Course for officers that are already O-4. Could I save time away from the family by waiting until after I'm promoted to MAJ to take the course?

Active Component Medical Corps officers (MAJ or above) who have successfully completed Phase 1, 6-8-C22(DL) or 6-8-C22(DL-MC) and are in consideration for promotion to Lieutenant Colonel.

Those are only for Medical Corps....not Dental Corps officers.

I saw CCC and thought Combat Casualty Care. Acronyms for everything in the service.
