CCOM vs DMU vs TUN vs AZCOM

Hi Everyone,
I was hoping for advice on deciding between these schools. I have done quite a bit of research and made multiple pros/cons lists. Ideally, I would like to eventually go into sports medicine (ortho, PM&R or family medicine). I know its more difficult to specialize, and especially match into ortho as a DO but want to keep my options open as much as I can right now. I am not a big fan of the cold lol so that is a drawback for CCOM and DMU but I don't want this to limit me if either of those are truly the best option. What advice do you all have regarding each of the schools' preparation for the match and particularly sports medicine/ortho opportunities? Thank you!!

CCOM and AZCOM can't justify their 400K+ price tags. For the other two: DMU > TUN in my opinion, but they're both good schools, so you'll be fine at either

I’m a first year at DMU so feel free to message me with any questions! Also, I believe there are about 4 students who match PM&R each year from DMU on average. However, we always have quite a few students match into a transitional year which also may provide training for future PM&R specialists we (as I’m sure most schools do) have a PM&R club!

I'm having trouble letting go of an acceptance at CCOM myself! I truly believe that if there is a DO school that could get you to ortho, it would be CCOM, as one of the most established schools that does not push primary care down their students' throats like some others do. I don't know much about TUN or DMU, but CCOM is a powerhouse despite (or maybe because of) their price tag. I just interviewed at AZCOM yesterday and just wasn't all that impressed. I wanted it to be a warm CCOM, but it isn't. While CCOM does symptom based curriculum, AZCOM's traditional curriculum was a huge issue for me. Teaching neatly in subject boxes doesn't help students begin to synthesize information. I would carefully compare CCOM to DMU and choose one of those. Good luck!
