CCS: If a consultant accepts a patient for a surgery

If you order a consult (e.g. vascular after aortic dissection) and the consultant accepts the patient should you then go ahead and order the specific procedure or just continue to do medical mgmt?

I don’t know the step answer but in real life it varies by hospital/specialty/procedure
 
@Laradd, on the software after the consultant, accepts the patient, you have to order pre-op list which includes NPO, Type and crossmatch, PT, PTT, IV access, NS, order aortic aneurysm repair/ thoracotomy.
