CCS Stragies? How much time to use; which buttons to push

Any general startegy for doing CCS cases? When does 5 min warning pop up? AFter 20 minutes of your time spent on the case or after u've done all the required steps?

Seems like I do:
1) Enter any necessary STAT orders (usually pulse ox, bp monitoring, cardiac monitor)
2) physcial exam
3) Remaining orders

Do you then click
"obtain results when next avail"
or go ahead and advance for "x # of hours"?

I have some problems with transitioning between q6 lab draws (such as cbc) and sending the patient home cuz the lab results keep popping up.

if you want to send your patient home why would you put q6 lab draws - you should d/c them. Right click on the order it comes "cancel order?" - d/c and then send the patient home
