cDAT vs American DAT preference?

Hi everyone, I'm a Canadian and thinking of applying next cycle.

For the U.S schools that accept cDAT, do they have a preference? For example, lets say two applicants both got 22AA and one took cDAT other took american DAT, would they prefer the american one?

Hard to truly say since all schools do their admissions slightly different, but if you can take the DAT over cDAT and you're applying for US schools, I would assume that they would look more favorably at the American DAT compared to cDAT. Schools that are Canadian friendly will probably look at the cDAT with more equivalence.

Ask the schools directly. We know taking the US test is more convenient versus the Canadian test, but we took both scores.
