Certificates of good moral character, also can I store up recs?

I was thinking of applying to my father's medical school, FEU. I saw this on the admissions reqs: two certificates of good moral character. These are just recommendations, right?

Also, I took a Bio101-102 last year, and got to know my prof really well, ended up acing the course. In fact after the final, as I was leaving he asked me what my goals were, and I told him that I was prepping for the MCAT and he told me that I have real talent and I should go for it. Now a response like that makes him a perfect prof to get a recommendation from, but I am about 1-1.5 years from taking the MCAT or falling back to the Philippines if I can't get in here in the USA.

So my question is, should I go now and write him a letter for a rec that I will use in the future or should I wait until around application time before I write him for the rec? I would hate for too much time to pass that he ends up forgetting enough about me to write a good rec.

Any answers are greatly appreciated.

You should get that rec letter now, while the professor has fresh thoughts and insights to who you are as a person and as a student.

As for the letter of good moral charater, it is just a Philippine requirement that those of us in the states are not that familiar with. don't really worry about it. I'm at UP at the moment and they needed those letters which basically say in letter form that you are a good person deamed qualified to go to med school. you can have anybody write it.

PhilAm, thanks for the info. Philam or anyone else, could I dual purpose this rec letter and just submit it as a letter of good moral character? Since the rec for american med schools is basically that.
