hey
if i got ur question right,i think u r asking abt whether u need to submit a financial statement along with ur application to CA schools....
i think they ask for a financial statement even if u r on h4...i dont think it makes a difference to them even if u study on h4 coz they just want to make sure that u r able to support ur education and thats the only thing they wanna see at this pt of time.....tell them that u will submit it if u get accepted .
so write them an email asking them whether they will consider ur application incomplete if u dont send them the statement......and write an email....dont talk over the phone so that u have a proof of their reply(just my opinion)
hope that helps.

Thanks Starwars. I will definatelt write a mail.

One does not need to send the cerificate of finaces during application and prior to the interview but you need to show your finances prior to admission regardless of your visa status,
regards,

yes pinktooth u r right,
but there r few CA schools that have specified on their website that they will need it along with application.i think USC does prefer if u send it at the time of application.....but its not mandatory....
that's why many of us r confused and have been asking colleges abt it

Certification Of Finances

With regards to USCLA what does notarised bank statement of Financial support mean?..Does anyone know how much amount needs to shown for application to be complete?Should amount relect the whole course fee ? 😕
Kindly anyone who knows please reply..

i think u need to show an amount of $81000.thats's wat written on their form.but i guess u can show that statement only if u r accepted into the program(even if they have mentioned that they need it in their application checklist)...reconfirm this with them....try to get a written response from them by email.....
hope this helps.

Certification of finances is needed to get F1. If you intend to stay on H4 then u dont need to show Certification of finances. My wife was in same situation. It would be better if you change to F1 after you get admission, this way you will get 1 year work permit called optional practical traning (OPT). On OPT u can work with any dentist and he can sponsor you to change your status from F1 to H1. Changing Staus directly from H4 to H1 can take a long time (about 6 months) depending on H1 quota availability.

Thanks rajkang..
Your reply is really helpful.
