What size needle/cannulla are you using for your cervical RFA? In fellowship we used 20G needles with a 10mm active tip. I am ordering more probes and wanted to take an informal poll first...Thx!

18ga 100mm and 145mm, 10mm active tip, bent. Use these for everything.

Thx; does ISIS specify a size for cervical vs lumbar? I have heard of some folks switching to 5 mm tip in the neck but I'm not sure of the rationale.

For posterior approach:

20 g 10 cm curved with 10 mm active tip

I also used curved for all.

18 g in T and L spine

18ga 10mm active tip - just switched to using these (from 20ga) for all levels. Like the idea of a bigger burn - we'll see how results pan out.
