cGPA/sGPA is 3.42/3.67, but got 2 D's & 2 C's in non-science courses. How bad is this?

I essentially only applied DO because of early aimlessness in college and a few other personal reasons. I was a non-science major with a couple low grades in both basic science and much ,much more difficult non-science courses. I was accepted without a single hiccup. I don't see why you wouldn't be either if the rest of your application is up to snuff. If your mcat score is not bad (laughably low standards at some schools to be quite frank), you should be fine! The bottom line is that your GPA as a whole is good enough. You should be prepared to answer the basic softball questions on the interview trail regarding a low grade, but I doubt it even gets brought up. If some PhD asked me why I got a B- in emerging market quant analysis a couple years ago I would probably laugh.

There are far more important things to stress about. Don't waste your energy.

Not bad, not great. But if these occurred early on, and you've maintained good grades ever since, it won't be much of an issue.

The were in my senior year for upper division courses in Computer Architecture. I'm not planning to retake them because I've been out of the university for so long. From the way it sounds, I won't be heavily disqualified outright. Thanks.

Time to pull out the ole xanax meme. You'all be totally fine. I would be surprised if it came up in interviews in any way other than maybe a passing question.

I had tragic grades in college and was not asked once. If you have done things to prove you've grown from those grades and have done better since, the other parts of your application will be more important!

You will be fine. Things happen. If you do well on the MCAT, it will prove you can science. At the end of the day, that is a big factor.

I had an entire semester of F's, a D, a semester of W's, and it took me 7 years to graduate. I have two acceptances so far.
Do you mind sharing which schools you were accepted to?
