I am reviewing chad videos of general chemistry and organic chemistry. Chad often says that we don't need to know X, y, or z on the DAT. Especially for organic chemistry section. For example, Chad said that we don't need to know much about diels-alder except that it is diene + dienophile. For those who followed Chad and taken the DAT, how accurate are his claims about what's NOT going on the DAT?

It would make life so much easier if there are stuff we don't need to know, but if the stuff does end up on the DAT then I will be sorrowfully unprepared : (

Rather than worry about what might night be on the exam, why not just study as much as possible and then not have to worry about it? For example, even though I ended up not having to use 95% of the reactions on the Destroyer road map, I'm glad I knew them all because I felt a lot more prepared. If I were you, I would study everything that Chad goes over inside and out. There are no shortcuts to performing well on the DAT
