hey guys! i was wondering did any of you guys buy chads vids for orgo chem (in the college chem section, not just the dat section). i bought them and they will expire in a while. but i did notice that he has very good explanations of nmr and ir stuff on those videos.

for the dat do you think i should expand my time on these or the ones in the ochem section of dat are good enough for the dat? i essentially have subscription to both, but was wondering if keeping both is a good idea or just go with the dat one?

is nmr and ir and other specs likely to show up on the test? thank you for your help!

also did anyone take the dat recently? i havent seen too many breakdowns in a while. please post em away! thank you!

The DAT version that chad gives for O-chem should suffice for your test. I had the O-chem in the college section, and though he does give good explanations, it's just extraneous information that you won't need to know for the DAT. The DAT portion should be more than enough for you to succeed 🙂

As for NMR and IR, I believe I had 1 question regarding IR spectroscopy, so I'd say definitely try and remember the peaks that Chad explains in the DAT videos and you'll be solid.
