For Chad's OCHEM - I finished the first 2 days of Chads OCHEM videos, understanding them conceptually, It seems like his DAY's 3 and 4 are just reactions - although he does explain the mechanisms, do I even need to understand them, or can I get by (scoring a high score in OCHEM) just memorizing the reactions from his site and memorizing the roadmaps in destroyer...
Basically what I am asking is - Is it enough to understand the mechanisms behind SN1, SN2, E1, E2 and just memorize the rest of the reactions without really knowing the mechanisms and still get a 20+ score?
I would appreciate any guidance...
