Ok - so as a student, currently in the US, about to enroll in a 4-year DDS/DMD program....what are the major cons regarding this?

-My main fear is that I will take out loans up the WAZOO and not be able to pay them back. Is this fear a good enough reason to keep me out of dentistry as an intl student who will be on F-1 and looking DESPERATELY for H1 after graduation. I'm abit fuzzy as to the general process of F1-OPT-H1-GC....Is this a smooth transition? I know that dentist qualify for EB2 immigrant visas and there is no backlog/retrogression so....HELP - do the pros outweigh the cons? Need ADVICE !!! Is it easy/worth the risk and will I find H1B sponsors?

The Pros & cons depends on these 2 major decision making parliament in your SELF.

Know your strength. Take your health into consideration. This visa thing, loans, are pretty petty from my own perspective, they are all achievable /dispensable. The fact that you sought advice is very profound in your personality that you are either cautious or fearful. Only you can tell.

There are things in life that you never know the answer until you get there. Our health, is one thing that we don't have control over with. The bottom line is to ask yourself what would make your life not easy but content in everyday living. The rest is on your hands.

Ask more advice from people that cares about you & those who knows you well.
