Chance at getting into Columbia? Just finished my DAT

Unfortunately I got sick with a high fever the day of my DAT and by the time i got to the reading section i lost focus.

Here are my scores:
AA:22
TS:24
PAT:20
Bio:30 🙂👍
Chem:21
Orgo:25
RC: 17 🙁
QR: 19

My gpa is a 3.99, and my science gpa around a 3.9 as well.
What are my chances of getting into Columbia? Will my RC score hinder my chances of getting in? I have tons of extracurricular activities and volunteer and shadowing hours

While your AA is pretty good, I've heard that the Ivies love high RC scores... You can go ahead and apply though and see what happens. You never know.

AA is just good enough to meet their minimum requirement.

Although, that RC may hurt you. I know the average RC for Penn last year was 22, but I don't have any data for Columbia or Harvard.

Apply and see what happens. You have nothing to lose.

There is no doubt that might hurt you, but with a 3.9 / 22AA your application will probably be seriously considered. Good luck!
