Overall GPA: 3.6
Sci GPA: 3.5

Have not taken the mcat yet.

Do schools interview without an mcat score? without LORs? If yes, which ones?

Do they want shadowing experience before applying? Or can I shadow after I submit my application?
I have shadowed many health professionals (DO, MD, Dentists, PA, PT, Nurses) but I am now interested in podiatry. I have not shadowed one, but I am familiar with the work they do because I had to take a family member for visits and for a surgery.

Am I late in the cycle? when is it considered late/ when does the cycle get competitive?

If given a conditional acceptance, what would i need to score on the mcats?

How competitive are scholarships?

You can interview without an MCAT, but usually this is when you are pending an MCAT score release - you won't see a score from your MCAT at the very earliest until February. So, sign up for an MCAT January date now (I'm pretty sure you can do that...?), so you aren't pushed back any further.

You can also interview without LORs also. These are much less important than MCAT scores.

Realistically, if I were you, I would maybe fill out my application and then submit sometime before February. The schools will forget who you are by February if you interview in October (that's assuming they grant you an interview without any solidified MCAT plans).

Late is considered April.

Conditional acceptances are generally not given.

Scholarships are automatically considered for each applicant and vary from half tuition (scholl, barry) to nothing (AZPOD), so it really depends where you apply.

Thanks MaxillofacialMN. You're all over the podiatry forums! lol. Youve been very helpful. 🙂

Anyone here get an interview invite without mcat scores?

Conditional acceptances are given at Kent to my knowledge.
