take off NYU
add in some publics

Can you explain why I should take off NYU? It's one of the top 3 schools I would like to attend.
if you are ok with the cost of living, cost of attendance and # of students, then be my guest
your stats are good enough to give you a shot at much cheaper and better schools

Since I'll likely be living at home and commuting into the city as I've done so in both high school + undergrad, I think I can mostly reduce the cost of living. But, I see where you're coming from. Thank you again for the input. I'll keep it in mind 🙂

NYU is really big and expensive. But since you are in NY, it might make sense to stay in NY.

Also apply to Stony Brook. You might get in and only have to pay in state tuition.
