Chance of Acceptance on waitlist after June?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
im in the same predicament. A few schools that I am wait-listed for have to told me to be on the lookout after July 1st.

I wish you the best in getting off the waitlist, however I think there won't be much movement. I would consider applying again this cycle just in case.

I bet there's still a chance, but I would still be reapplying if you haven't already just to cover all of your bases. I have talked to dental school students who were accepted during orientation week, so you never know. Good luck to you guys!

I can only hope and pray I get off of the waitlist!!! School doesn't start until Sept, so I have some time:xf::luck:
Good luck everyone!

Curious about July as well!?

same situation. reapplying, 18 schools this time

btw i called usc and nova; both said classes were full with deposits. theres still hope

I'm currently waitlisted too, but I've already sent in my reapplication. I don't like relying on luck.

yeh good decision, I have done the same. Last year I applied late (september), so hopefully this year both of us have a better shot.

just realized that I should have made one post only

Your chances are about as bad as winning the lottery at this point. But it happens now and then. I had a classmate who packed up the day before school started and made the cross country trip to get there.

Same boat. USN, being a new school, said they will possibly be pulling from their waitlist into the first week of classes. So there is some hope. I applied June 1st this year unlike last year, so hopefully that helps!

There's totally still hope, you guys. I just got pulled of a wait list today! I had AADSAS half-way filled out to reapply when I got the call this morning. Stay positive!

congrats, where did you get in at?

Thanks! I got into Nebraska! I went to undergrad in Lincoln, so I am already used to the city and the school. It should take some of the stress out of a rushed apartment search, etc.
