Canadian
cGPA 3.52
sGPA 3.44
BCP 3.10
DAT 20/20/20
Lots of ECs, 100 shadowing hours (including mission trip), average LORs

If I apply as early as possible, do I have a shot? Should I re-take the DAT?

Thank you all

Looks pretty good to me. Your GPA's are average except your BCP which is a little low. DAT is average. Make your personal statement stand out and apply early. i would plan on a DAT retake if it were me but then again you could very well get in without it.

Thanks for your reply! I really hope so, worried about the Canadian status. I just have a quick question - if I re-take the DAT let's say first week of July... would the scores just automatically go to AADSAS and my app will be re-sent out to schools?

Do I HAVE to state I am re-taking on the app initially... or can I just submit it with my current stats and then later just do it (re-take).

I am wondering bc I do not necessarily want schools to wait to review my app until the DAT scores (plus what if I do not take it) - but then again, if they do not know I am re-taking and they toss my app, even with new scores I am guessing they would not pull it up again?

Not too sure how to go about this...

From my understanding your application will be considered complete and sent out to your schools. A note will be on there that you are retaking the DAT and your application will be set aside until your DAT is complete then they will re-evaluate you. This information is coming straight from GHSU admissions. Hope that helps!
