Hey,

I just joined SDN and from everything I've read about applying and where are good places to apply to I had a few questions. I currently go to Geneseo and I am in the 3+4 program with UB Dental. I just took my DAT and got AA-22, TS-20, and PAT-22. My cumulative GPA is 3.52 and my BCP GPA is 3.35. I have a spot already at UB Dental but should i think about applying to other dental schools that might be better? If so which dental school's are good with my stats?

Thanks,

Rishi

hey, just something to think about if you haven't already, and if you have - my bad. you've already been accepted to a state school which means you'll get the state tuition, which is a LOT less than most other schools. so unless you're looking to get into stony brook instead (but i can sort of imagine you not wanting to, since we're both from the same place and we know what it's like 🙄), you'll be saving yourself maybe... $100 grand by staying with buffalo. if you're doing it just for kicks, i'd save myself the thousand-plus dollars by not applying to other places. but if you hate it there by now, i guess it's good to look somewhere else. good luck!

if you already have a spot, id save yourself the time, money, and stress. 🙂 unless, of course, there is a diff school you are dying to go to. even so, though, i think it's great you already have a guaranteed spot!
