Chances at the Big 4?

I took the MCAT in April. I was averaging around a 30 on the AMCAS practice tests. The big day comes, and the stress gets the best of me. I bomb the exam and end up with a 21Q. (VR 6, PS 6, BS 9) I was ranging from 10-13 at VR on the practice tests. My GPA is 3.28.

My resume includes volunteering at hospitals, shadowing a physician, and an EMT certification.

I have filled out a couple applications to the Caribbean schools. Can someone please tell me what kind of chances I have at these schools with my current stats?

Sorry to bring bad news but you don't have a good chance unless you have something stellar in your resume that you didn't mention. Your GPA is ok but the MCAT is out of the competitive range. Retake that MCAT and get a 26+ and you should get into the med school or at least the 1 term review programs.

Fair enough. I was hoping I wouldn't have to take it again, but maybe I wont absolutely choke this time and get myself into DO. I'm still holding out for a possibility of the MERP. Thanks for the answer.

OP will get in with a 26+...As for now, OP will get in 1 term review programs with that 21 mcat.
