I'd say pretty good. Good GPA, Good Extras, MCAT a little low. As long as you show your not criminally insane at the interview you'll be fine. Good luck.

you will be fine good GPA , ok MCAT , good status just apply , wish you luck

- I agree good GPA, average MCAT, but do some shadowing and apply ASAP Scholl is a top school so it will be hard to get in the longer you wait. I would apply now

I say you have the stats to get accepted for sure. The avg MCAT at Scholl may be a 25 but I assure you that the MCAT scores that make up our first year class vary...a lot.

Scholl admissions def want you to shadow and get a LOR from a pod as well. You won't be accepted without either one. All in all you look like a very solid candidate and you might be able to score yourself a scholarship if you apply early enough.

thanks for the replies everyone.

would it be too late (for my stats) to be complete by like december or january?

- I don't know why you are waiting. Your GPA/MCAT is good enough to apply. I would apply now!

i'd love to apply now but i have yet to ask for letters from my professors and i know that they take forever

and i have yet to do any shadowing and get a LOR from a dpm and i know they'll take even longer.

- I still think it is good for you to submit your app now. Some schools will invite you for an interview without rec letters. Even so, it is good to get your name in there among all the schools. I do not see how applying later in the cycle will benefit you more as opposed to right now. However, if you have never shadowed a Pod before, then I would do that to make sure you know what you are getting into.

I would apply as soon as you can. Get that shadowing done too. Your grades are good enough that most schools will still still invite you to interview with an incomplete application. Good luck.
