I've checked several web sites and none are really giving me what I need. I am looking to find out what the minimal mcat score is for admission at several schools or the new overall "30" if you will. I took a practice test and scored 508 which was 82nd percentile or something to that effect. I have a 3.0 undergrad gpa and a 3.8 grad school gpa in my MSPA with most of my classes being sciences according to aacomas. I think this should be good for admissions but I really need an idea of whether to take the MCAT now or study a couple more months for good measure. If I manage to score a 508 I have 5 years experience as a PA-C and greatly improved in my academics over the years of my PA program compared to undergrad. What would be my chances?

They won't consider your graduate GPA as part of your UG GPA unfortunately. It will probably help though. Yeah a 508 is about an old 30. Take a couple of practice tests until you are consistently scoring where you want to. Did you study at all or just take the test?

If you didn't study at all and got a 508, put in your time for a few months and I think you should get a great score. Also it depends on what practice test you took, some are known to be deflated and a some are known to be inflated. If that was an aamc practice test score it's supposed to be the most accurate. But if that was a TPR or kaplan FL, which are from what I've heard severely deflated for most people, then that seriously says something about your critical thinking skills. Especially if that was one of their diagnostics, which I've heard are even more deflated than their actual FLs.
For DO cycle you could test anytime in July and be fine, so take the next couple months study you butt off, take more practice tests for more accuracy on your predicted score, and kill the MCAT.
